Did not get up until10 min of 10. Went down town in P.M. with Marion. Bought blanket. Grandpa came over. May's yarn came. got letter from Ma. She is fine.

ReplyDeleteI knew a woman who was a nurse in Halifax in 1917--hard to imagine how horrible that explosion was. I didn't know that it was followed by a blizzard.
ReplyDeleteI didn't know about this explosion at all until reading Ada's diary ten or so years ago. Horrific.
