Transcription of a 1915 - 1919 diary written by my husband's grandmother Ada May (Grimshaw) Illingworth who lived in Springfield, Vermont.
How sad. What a terrible epidemic to have lived through.
ReplyDeleteYes, so horrible. Hard to imagine the impact it had on the survivors. I've read a book that talks about the worldwide denial that occurred after the flu had finally died out.
