Sat. Snow in P.M.

Did not get up until10 min of 10. Went down town in P.M. with Marion. Bought blanket. Grandpa came over. May's yarn came. got letter from Ma. She is fine.
Halifax swept with blizzard after disaster.

  2. I knew a woman who was a nurse in Halifax in 1917--hard to imagine how horrible that explosion was. I didn't know that it was followed by a blizzard.

  3. I didn't know about this explosion at all until reading Ada's diary ten or so years ago. Horrific.
    Did that woman ever talk to you about what it was like?
